  • STORM ON FRANKLIN STREET

We update this page with timely information about Town facilities, services, and traffic alerts related to emergencies. For the latest weather updates, visit weather.gov/rah

Here are some helpful reminders for weather-related events.

If you see high water, do not drive or walk through it. Turn around, don't drown.

If you see a tree down, and:

  • it's dangerous, call 911.
  • it's on public property, report it at SeeClickFix (use the Hazardous Weather Event Response category)
  • it's not on public property, call a tree company or wait until it's safe to clear it.

Drivers should treat traffic signals without power as a four-way stop.

Download Chapel Hill Transit’s app for the most up-to-date service changes (iOS users and Google Play).
