Glen Lennox Phase 1- Apartments & Road Improvements
Plans to construct a 215 unit apartment building at the southwest corner of the intersection of Brandon Road and Flemington Road were approved on September 8, 2017. The project includes construction of transportation improvements on Fordham Boulevard that are anticipated in the Development Agreement. These traffic improvements include construction of two partial traffic control signals to allow left-hand turn movements from southbound Fordham Boulevard onto Brandon Road, and onto the new road, Glen Lennox Drive. These intersections will not serve as four-way traffic control signals. A new U-Turn will be constructed within the existing Fordham Boulevard to allow a turnaround for north-bound traffic, and will operate similar to traffic signals that permit U-turns on Fordham Boulevard east and west of Europa Boulevard. A graphic that illustrates all of the roadway improvements to Fordham Boulevard, as identified in the Development Agreement, is provided below.
Infrastructure improvements within Glen Lennox include the construction of a new road, Glen Lennox Drive, located between Brandon Road and Hayes Road. Additionally this effort will provide improvements within the Resource Conservation District to repair an existing stormwater headwall located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Brandon Road and Flemington Road. The approved site plan may be accessed at the link below, and the full plans may be accessed by contacting Town staff.
