EZRAC Initiatives
While we have been discussing a timeline to open our facility with Town Emergency Management staff and public health officials, with the increase in-cases due to the Delta variant we are putting those efforts on hold. Our focus will continue to be the health and safety of our Team Members and customers and we will continue to work with health officials and our local/national/international peers to keep folks safe. Some quick updates and minor adjustments that will start on August 2, 2021:
1. We will continue our sign-in and temp procedures (take your temp each time you enter the building), however wristbands will not be issued.
2. Masks are still required in facilities and in vehicles where more than one (1) person is present. We will continue to provide masks on vehicles. If necessary, please remind respectfully remind customers that masks are required on Chapel Hill Transit and should the need arise please notify dispatch or Supervisor for further assistance
3. Welcome our newest full-time operators Chance Benton and Eli Amedjrovi to our demand response team.
