Cedar Falls Park Tennis Courts to Close for Reconstruction, Alternate Tennis Sites Available

Post Date:11/21/2024 1:30 PM

Cedar Fall Tennis CourtsThe Town of Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department will begin reconstruction work on six existing tennis courts at Cedar Falls Park on Monday, December 2, 2024. We expect work to be completed by Monday, June 16, 2025.

The reconstruction project will address repairs to weather damage over time, drainage and provide an accessible path to the courts from the parking lot.

“We are delighted to reconstruct the six Cedar Falls tennis courts,” said Parks and Recreation Director Atuya Cornwell. “Feedback from local community members enables us to ensure that the community can enjoy these courts for years to come in Chapel Hill.”

The Town of Chapel Hill is committed to providing quality recreational opportunities for our community. We’re pleased to share different tennis sites available for open play or reservation, until our improvements are complete.
