The Chapel Hill Police Department is planning an increased number of pedestrian safety enforcement operations as students return to both UNC and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS) at the end of August.
The Chapel Hill Town Council announced the appointment of Interim Town Manager Chris Blue as the new town manager during a Special Meeting on Monday, July 24. Blue will assume his permanent duties effective August 1, 2023.
