The Town of Chapel Hill’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting up to 200 American Red Cross personnel and volunteers beginning Friday, Sept. 21, who are in town providing assistance to shelter victims.

Chapel Hill has seen a massive amount of rainfall in the last three days. The remnants of Hurricane Florence will continue late Monday night into Tuesday with even more rainfall, so flooding will continue.
