A draft report of the Town of Chapel Hill’s Lower Booker Creek Subwatershed (LBCSW) Study and its Appendices are now available for review at www.lowerbookercreeksws.org. After completing assessments of current infrastructure and stormwater management within the LBCSW, and modeling for future development, the Town’s consultant W.K. Dickson has proposed a list of recommended improvements and capital projects to address flooding and drainage, water quality, and protecting natural stream corridors.
The meeting will begin with a presentation, followed by a Questions & Answers session, and opportunities to talk directly with consultants from W.K. Dickson.
The public may comment during either of the public meetings on November 3, or may submit comments through November 15, 2016 through the study website at www.lowerbookercreeksws.org.
Printed copies of the study report and recommendations are available in the reference area of the Chapel Hill Public Library.
