The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) will be holding a public drop-in session for the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) on September 19th from 4pm-6:30pm at Carrboro Town Hall.
What is the MTP?
The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will plan state and federal transportation investments in our region through its 2045 MTP. To develop the MTP, the MPO is reviewing different alternatives for meeting future transportation needs. Staff from is holding a series of public workshops in the region to seek feedback on several alternatives for future transportation investments. Next Steps
The MPO Board will release a draft MTP in October and adopt the final 2045 MTP in December. Town of Chapel Hill staff will present the draft MTP to Town Council on October 25th and relay any comments to the MPO staff.
