Summary: Staff from the North Carolina State Historic Preservation Office will present a workshop on the historic preservation program in North Carolina and the important role of Certified Local Governments, including Chapel Hill. This is an opportunity to learn more about how Chapel Hill’s Historic District Commission works to preserve and enhance the historic character of the community.

Time Change: The meeting start time has been moved up to 8:45 AM, so the program will now last until 11:45 AM. 

A majority of the members of the Historic District Commission may be in attendance at this training.
