2. Congratulations to Dwight Bethea!
Congratulations Dwight for becoming a full-time demand response operator for the town and chapel hill transit. Dwight has been employed with us for 15 months and has become a reliable and dedicated operator. Dwight is an asset to our team and we look forward to having many great years with him.
3. Employee Appreciation Pay
The Town announced additional employee appreciation pay. The Town will be offering a one-time cash payment to our full-time, part-time and regular program support staff who were employed with us on or before December 31st 2020:

Draft rider survey (I hope to send this out ahead of time)
discuss request for "board priorities" for next five years (no attempt to decide these in this meeting, just a heads up about the request from the Town)
discuss need a new member to start in July
discuss Hillsborough MAP program
determine if CHT would have interest in learning more about the American Council for the Blind (ACB) legislative initiative for a bill that would set up a pilot for paratransit systems to allow a stop during a trip (and assess how that could work)
