Are you interested in traffic patterns in Chapel Hill? At upcoming community meetings on traffic modeling, a Town consultant will present a draft Town-wide Traffic Model that was prepared using TransModeler software. This model will provide real-time information on traffic measures such as level of service, delay, and capacity levels of street networks for vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, and transit.
A town-wide model meeting is planned for 6 p.m. Monday, March 29. Craig Scheffler of infrastructure solutions firm HNTB will present the findings of the town-wide traffic model.
