Community Conversations: Creating a Culture of Roadway Safety

Want to make our streets safer for everyone?  Please join us at 6pm, Thursday March 28th, 2024, at the Chapel Hill Library, Meeting Room B, for a community conversation with Leah Shahum, founder of the national Vision Zero Network. We will hear how our commitments to Vision Zero and Safe Routes to School can improve safety on our roads, sidewalks and greenways. Shahum brings two decades of experience championing movements to advance safe, healthy, active transportation, and is considered a leader in advocating for safe streets for all.

All ages welcome! Light Refreshments will be available.

Ms. Shahum will be in Town to speak at the 2024 Safe Mobility Conference, March 26-27, which will be co-hosted by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety and the UNC Highway Safety Research Center.
