On Wednesday, August 26, 2015, the Town of Chapel Hill will be holding a public information meeting to share information about the impact of North Carolina Senate Bill 25 on the Town’s Neighborhood Conservation Districts. The meeting will be from 5:00-6:30pm in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Chapel Hill.
Some elements of the following Neighborhood Conservation Districts are no longer enforceable by the Town due to the enactment of Senate Bill 25 as North Carolina Session Law 2015-86, on June 19, 2015.
The Neighborhood Conservation Districts that are affected include:
CD-1: Northside
CD-2: Greenwood\
CD-3: Kings Mill/Morgan Creek
CD-4: Pine Knolls
CD-5: Mason Farm/Whitehead Circle
CD-8A and CD-8B: Glen Lennox
CD-9: Little Ridgefield
During the public information meeting, Town staff will share information about the specific elements affected and answer questions.
