When Are Residential Permits Required?
Residential permits are required for any project consisting of the construction, installation, repair, remodel, alteration, and/or demolition of:
- Single Family Houses and duplexes
- Sheds and outbuildings
- Interior Remodel
- Decks, Patios, and Pavers, driveways
- Pools, Hot Tubs, and Spas
- Fences and Retaining Walls
- And more (check with us!)

Zoning Review
All exterior work - including additions, decking, additions, pools, fences, patios, sewer lines, demolitons, grading, etc - will be reviewed to ensure that it conforms to the setback, height, impervious surface, and land disturbance requirements of the Land Use Ordinance.
Building Review
Any building, construction, alteration, remodeling work with structural components requires a building permit. Building plans are reviewed to ensure compliance with the residential building code.
