Effective July 1, 2014

All development activity in the Blue Hill Form District will be subject to the Blue Hill (formerly Ephesus-Fordham) Form District Regulations. In order to achieve the goal of renewal and transformation of the district to a pleasant, walkable, mixed use area, development activity that disturbs land beyond ordinary maintenance and repair is subject to the new regulations, which may require the approval of a Form District Permit and a Certificate of Appropriateness. Signs are also subject to the new regulations of the Form District.

 

Development Regulations

Development in the Blue Hill District is subject to the Form-Based Code and the District's Design Guidelines.

 

Application Forms

Form District Certificate of Appropriateness
Form District Permit

Projects involving exterior renovations must submit a Certificate of Appropriateness application, for CDC review of building elevations and materials.

Projects involving new buildings or substantial building additions must submit both applications - Form District Permit for staff review, and Certificate of Appropriateness for CDC review.
