GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • All inspection requests for code compliancy require 100% state of readiness (visual, functional)
  • All conditions and requirements of plan review and permit shall be met prior to inspection request
  • All ancillary functions (door releases, dampers, etc…) connected to systems for inspection shall require 100% state of readiness and functionality
  • After 2nd failed inspection all re-inspections incur fee of $100.00 per inspection to be paid prior to scheduling additional tests/inspections
  • No simulated operation(s) shall be allowed or accepted during inspections:
    • Examples:
      • Water must move through pipe for flow switches
      • Valve handle(s) must be turned for tamper switches
  • All device types, locations and functions shall be verified
  • Approved plans, operation manuals, specification sheets, calculations shall be on site
