The Town of Chapel Hill is dedicated to fostering thriving neighborhoods. As part of the Community Connections Strategy, the Town aims to increase the diversity of residents engaged in Town processes and programs by deepening  engagement with groups that have historically been disconnected or disengaged from the Town.

Our key strategies include:

• Supporting and investing in community organizations that play a vital role in fostering community engagement and addressing the needs of residents.
• Piloting innovative approaches to invite and encourage residents who have been directly impacted by Town processes to participate in ways that are comfortable and meaningful to them.
• Using new tools and strategies to enhance outreach efforts and ensure that information is accessible and easily understood by all members of the community.

Through these strategies, the Town is working towards creating an inclusive and engaged community where all residents feel valued and have the opportunity to contribute to the Town's processes and programs.
