| Connections | The Morgan Creek Trail as well as the Fan Branch Trail from Southern Community Park connects directly to the Town-owned Merritt's Pasture open space area |

Parking is available at a parking lot off of Fordham Blvd. Access the parking lot from the eastbound lane of Fordham Blvd (NC 54). Look for the access drive east of Smith Level Road, just past Kingswood Apartments.
NOTE: The parking lot is closed in the evening. From November through February the parking lot is open 7:00 am - 6:30 pm. From March through October the parking lot is open 6:00 am - 9:00 pm
You may also park at Southern Community Park and take the Fan Branch Trail to the pasture. |
