Haunted Hill 2023

Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine?

Grab a costume and join us for a Trunk-or-Treat, a Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest (register below) and a Movie in the Park.

Also enjoy some spooktacular games, a Haunted Bus, and other fun activities.

The Trunk-or-Treat and Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest are from 5pm to 6:30pm.

The movie The Addams Family will start at 7pm.

To enter the Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest, please register here for Section A.

 

Three categories of decorating.
- Carved Pumpkins
- Painted and decorated pumpkins
- Nontraditional Material Pumpkins, i.e. ceramic, fabric, etc.

Contest Eligibility:
- Contest is open to ages 5 and up
- Must have a completed online registration receipt.

Want to host a Trunk or Treat and promote your organization. Sign Up here

Local groups and people will decorate their cars’ trunks and give out candy that’s already packaged for trick or treating to kids in the community. Don’t forget your costumes!

Parking is free. Chapel Hill Community Center Park is located at 120 S. Estes Drive. While limited parking is available at the Community Center parking lot, additional parking is available near the park on Estes Drive at the Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Post Office, and Wells Fargo Bank buildings. When parking in these neighboring businesses, please keep in mind to not block any ATM machines or post office boxes.

The Town of Chapel Hill always makes sure that people can bike and walk to these great events. They encourage everyone to do this.

This is an outdoor event and subject to weather.
