American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguard Course
Acquire the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies and be certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
Pre-Requisites:
Must be 15 years old on or before the last day of the course. Swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl and breaststroke. Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs. Swim 20 yards, retrieve a 10-pound object from between 7-10 feet deep, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object, and exit the water within 1 minute, 40 seconds.
Online Content:
A blended course includes 7 hours of online material that MUST BE completed before class starts on the first day. This will be sent out via email by your instructor 2 weeks prior to your course start date. Failure to complete the online content before the first day of class will disqualify you from participating in the course.
Course Length:
20 hours without meal breaks or transition times. Please expect to be present for all course time offerings. Failure to attend a session will disqualify you from continuing on in the course.

Successful completion of the course comes with a certification from the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding for Professional Rescuers with CPR/AED and First Aid.

American Red Cross Lifeguarding Recertification Course
Re-certify current lifeguards whose certifications are about to expire. Learn the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Upon successful completion, participants will be recertified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
Pre-Requisites:

Must have a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or one that has expired by no more than 30 days.

Swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl and breaststroke.

Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs.

Swim 20 yards, retrieve a 10-pound object from between 7-10 feet deep, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object, and exit the water within 1 minute, 40 seconds.

This course certifies individuals as American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructors.
Pre-Requisites:

Must be 17 years old on or before the last day of the course.

Have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

This course certifies individuals as American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructors.

Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be certified to teach a variety of American Red Cross water safety programs, including all levels of the Learn-to-Swim program.
Pre-Requisites:

Must be 16 years old on or before the last day of the course.
