You can make a Difference too

Special Olympics Orange County is self-supported and funds received from donors provide for athlete expenses (training, uniforms, food, room and travel).  Special Olympic athletes are never charged a fee to compete.   Any contribution is greatly appreciated and helps to keep SOOC growing.  SOOC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Ways to help out:

  • Make financial or in-kind donations

  • Identify and submit potential grant funding opportunities

  • Identify and develop relationships with corporate funders

  • Liaison with Special Olympics NC in joint campaigns such as the annual Torch Run

  • Organize direct mailing campaigns

  • Conduct fundraising events such as car washes and yard sales
