The Chapel Hill Police Department’s Internship Program offers college students the opportunity to work alongside officers and professional staff to learn police operations and gain hands-on experience in all divisions. Interns will have the opportunity to work with patrol, traffic, investigations, Crisis Unit, K-9, and forensics divisions.

 

Internships are available year-round, and we work with students to create a schedule and learning experience to meet their interests and educational requirements. Our internships are unpaid.
