The purpose of resurfacing is to preserve and enhance the Town’s roadway system. Annual street resurfacing began in early March 2023.

What does resurfacing work include?

The proposed work includes utility adjustments, patching, grinding of asphalt, pedestrian curb cut improvements, and replacement of badly deteriorated curbs and gutters prior to resurfacing.

We work to minimize inconveniences, though some parking spaces and driveways may be temporarily blocked. Motorists should anticipate some minor delays during the work week. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation during the period of improvement.

Please be aware that contractors working for the Town are not permitted to solicit or perform “side work,” while engaged in an ongoing project for the Town. An example of this would be paving asphalt on private property. If you are approached by someone claiming to be affiliated with the Town’s contractor offering driveway paving or other services, please be cautious of a potential scam.
