Description: This application proposes construction of a 9,000 square foot preschool on a four acre lot for 100 students and 22 staff. This application proposes 36 parking spaces and eight temporary drop-off spaces for a total of 44 spaces.
Note: The preschool has an existing site plan approval from the Planning Commission for the same site. That approval is for a 9,000 square foot preschool for 80 children and 20 staff. Should the Town Council approve the new application, the marginal effect would be to amend and supersede the existing approval.
About Public Information Meetings: The meeting on February 2nd is an informal opportunity for community members to learn about the project and share feedback at the beginning of the Special Use Permit review process. As review progresses, public meetings will be held by Advisory Boards and Town Council. In addition, a separate meeting will be held on January 29th that focuses on the traffic impact of this application.
