A contractor for The Carolina Inn at the intersection of South Columbia Street and Cameron Avenue will intermittently close the left lane of South Columbia Street for sidewalk and driveway reconstruction beginning Monday, July 9.

The N.C. Department of Transportation will close one lane of southbound U.S. Highway 15-501 near the N.C. Highway 54 ramp from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, May 16—weather permitting—to trim back growth that is limiting sight distance.
The A Route will be detoured while Hillsborough Street is closed starting May 16. Bus stops on Hillsborough Street will not be served. Board at alternate bus stops at 725 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Foster's Market.
