The Town Council will gather for the post-election organizational meeting set for 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The Chapel Hill Town Council has announced the vacancy on the Council resulting from the resignation of former Council member Bill Strom on Aug. 1. The Town Charter provides that this vacancy be filled by appointment by the Town Council for the remainder of the term of office, until December 2011. Residents of Chapel Hill who are registered voters and otherwise qualified to hold office are invited to apply to fill this vacant seat on the Town Council.
The Chapel Hill Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, June 15, in Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., to consider an agenda that includes the following highlights. Public attendance is welcome.
