Overnight Road and Sidewalk Closures: North Columbia Street
Duke Energy will close the northbound lanes of North Columbia Street (heading away from downtown) and the adjacent sidewalk between Franklin and Rosemary streets from 11:30 p.m. Monday to 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Winter Storm Inga Update: 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18
Winter Storm Inga dropped between 10 and 12 inches of snow on Chapel Hill Wednesday, and extremely low overnight temperatures have made clean-up efforts difficult. Crews have been working around the clock and will continue until the town is returned to normal.
